In Elijah's revolution there was a turning when a man named Jehu was anointed by a prophet and was called out as king in the midst of his friends. All were commanders but Jehu was called to leadership as a king to throw down Jezebel, a wicked queen who led Israel astray from the commands of Lord their God. Jehu's company led the revolution to overthrow Jezebel and rode with such zeal a movement was started that swept the nation into freedom. Jehu said," ride with me and see my zeal for the Lord". 2Kings 10:16
We are burning to ride with this zeal to see a movement sweep across our state and nation that removes our compromises and calls for a returning to the Lord from the seductions of the world.
21 days before "The Call", we are calling forth a ride across the state for those who will join as a company to see a breakthrough of moral conscience and revival in the state of California. Starting in San Diego and ending in Sacramento we will be hosting pre-call gatherings, anointing Jehu's; those who will give themselves to inward purity and a burning heart to see revival in California that will spread throughout our nation. We will end in Sacramento, for a Holy assembly September 3rd and 4th.
As we gather to the place of the sacrament we separate ourselves holy unto the Lord, in repentance and fasting believing for a turn around and spiritual awakening in the church and our state.
This will be a 21 day trek up and down the state of California. Leading worship, preaching and praying every day, from morning to evening. According to the scriptures in 2 Kings 9, Jehu is anointed as king over Israel, and overthrows Jezebel. Until that time, Israel had been under mass oppression of the whoredoms and witchcrafts through Jezebel. Once He is anointed to be king, he rides with a fury, and a zeal of the Lord to end the oppression.
The mission statement of Jehu's ride will be to preach an unfiltered, uninhibited, non humanistic- gospel on the platform of a church gathering, shopping mall, open field, public school, etc... Our desire is to speak boldly in this hour of urgency that California is in; To call the church to the place of prayer , to trade prosperity for posterity, and ultimately back to the cross.
